We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, identifying prospects, and closing sales. The ideal candidate has 2 years’ experience, a book of business, is a self-starter, thrives in a competitive environment, and has a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify potential clients.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, updating and managing sales activity in CRM software.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective lead generation and outreach strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in a hunter sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, with experience in cold calling and appointment setting.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to succeed.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills:
- Experience in 3PL or knowledge of transportation and supply chain.
