Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual to join our team, providing support to households in finding and maintaining housing, accessing community resources, and fostering independence. Clients access Housing Support (formerly GRH) through Maverick's Housing Support program to pay for their housing. The primary objectives of this role are to assist participants in achieving and sustaining stability in their lives, homes, and communities.
Work Schedule:
The position typically requires working Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility to accommodate participant needs. This is a field-based role, and individuals are not required to come to the office. Instead, they are expected to meet directly with their clients to provide support and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist participants in identifying and securing suitable housing options.
- Introduce participants to program policies, housing requirements, and expectations.
- Maintain regular and meaningful contact with participants to build trust and support housing stability.
- Collaborate with participants to set and achieve housing-related goals.
- Support participants in completing housing applications and navigating eligibility processes.
- Identify and explore formal and informal support networks to assist with housing stability.
- Assist participants in accessing community resources to address barriers to housing.
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords and property managers to facilitate housing opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between participants and property managers to address tenancy issues.
- Provide ongoing support to help participants meet lease obligations and maintain housing.
- Offer flexible, client-centered services tailored to individual housing needs.
- Accompany participants to housing-related appointments, such as viewings or lease signings.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Associates degree in human services, social work, or related fields or one year of experience with the target population served;
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a safe, reliable, and insured vehicle.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in direct social services.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, and diverse populations, including those with mental health, chemical use, and trauma histories.

Pay: $4,000.00 per month
