The Compliance Supervisor ensures maximum long-term success of Maverick Gaming properties in Washington, through the specific responsibility of compliance of all appropriate regulations and standards set by the State of Washington, State of Nevada, State of Colorado and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The duties listed below are examples of the work typically performed by an employee in this position:
- Comply and enforce all policies, procedures, regulations and laws pertaining to gaming in the states of Washington, Nevada and Colorado.
- Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to company business.
- Maintain multiple property Internal Controls. Work with all gaming departments for approval.
- Review and audit all gaming department monetary logs for the filings of Currency Transaction Reports and Suspicious Activity Reports using AML and Gaming systems.
- Perform AML audits and file necessary reporting. Assist other AML auditors on all AML audits, when needed, providing answers or information from the player tracking system or AML system.
- Monitor and maintain the Compliance inboxes.
- Maintain the Washington State Self Exclusions log and notifications.
- Work closely with the player tracking system and the AML system to ensure accuracy. Notify the Executive Director of Compliance of any potential discrepancies found.
- Assist the Executive Director of Compliance on the Know Your Customer Due Diligence, in accordance with the Company’s AML Program.
- Communicate with the Executive Director of Compliance to keep them appraised of possible obstacles, opportunities and progress of the gaming operations.
- Minutes-recorder and provide data points as needed for AML meetings.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform related and/or other duties as assigned.
- Assist IT Compliance with variable assigned duties.
Requirements
- Be 21 years of age
- Must obtain a Gaming License.
- Must have Title 31 Training.
- Must have auditing experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs.
- Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works standard shifts but may include weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift 25 pounds; this position would require business casual attire.
