The Store Auditor performs scheduled store audits for locations in Davis County consisting of physical counts of inventory and assets at assigned store locations. You will ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation and verify assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
What You'll Do as a Store Auditor
- Perform and research inventory audits in scheduled stores
- Correct improper receiving, complete cash audits on store safes and check physical counts for accuracy
- Compile and provide reports as required
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job including long periods of standing and lifting weight of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work independently as well as others, train store personnel on correct invoice entering
- Extensive travel including overnight/out of town travel
You’ll Be a Great Fit if You Have
- A High School Diploma/GED
- 2 retail experience (Maverik experience preferred)
- A result orientated drive, focused on problem solving and providing solutions
- Strong customer awareness and a high comfort level concerning multi-tasking and adapt easily to change
- Basic computer and math skills
- A Valid Driver’s License with an excellent driving record
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $18.50 -$19.50/hourly
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik/Kum&Go considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
