Location : Charlotte, NC 28262 (Hybrid)
Duration : 12 months contract (possibility of extension)
Job Description :
Engineers within Technology COO are responsible for the maintenance of Technology Endpoints within the Physical Security within the Lenel OnGuard environment.
This includes operational support for the Client's Physical Access Control Technologies (PACT) team.
This candidate will do programming of new zones / readers within the Lenel OnGuard application, troubleshoot remote installations of panels and badge readers, and resolve support tickets related to Lenel.
The team supports incident and problem management, endpoint and application configuration, and hardware (controllers, badge readers, Interface boards, etc.) lifecycle management.
In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may :
Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Systems Operations Engineering.
Review and analyze basic or tactical Systems Operations Engineering assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables.
Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Provide information to client personnel in Systems Operations Engineering.
Required Qualifications :
2 plus years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
