Put your career into high gear with Mavis Discount Tire! We're looking for a full-time Pricing Analyst to join Team Mavis at our Operations Support Center in White Plains, New York. With over 2,300 retail locations, Mavis is the one of the largest independently-held tire sales and automotive repair chain in the United States.
About the Position of Pricing Analyst
As a member of the Procurement Department, the Pricing Analyst will support the SVP of Procurement in analyzing competitive pricing, market analysis, and managing web and retail pricing in different markets across the US.
Responsibilities:
- Managing pricing for all core items online and in stores in various pricing zones across the US to optimize sell-through and margin
- Collaborates with special rebates and online promotions in collaboration with manufacturers
- Leverages competitive scrapes to conduct market analysis and recommend dynamic pricing strategies
- Utilize pricing models to shape demand
- Drive markdown optimization analysis & special pricing to assist in sell-through of non-productive / excess inventory
Minimum Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, merchandising, pricing or supply chain analytics
- Strong Excel skills required
- Exhibited aptitude for programming / SQL experience
- Excellent written presentation skills
- Strong ownership and demonstrated project management skills
