Technology drives our success and in order to continue to provide our customers with a quality experience, we are looking for a skilled IT Office Administrator to join our expanding team.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and organized IT Office Administrator to coordinate a number of administrative projects and tasks across the Mavis enterprise. This role blends office management expertise with IT knowledge in order to support and enhance operational efficiency. The IT Office Manager will lead a small team of other administrators in order to: coordinate IT projects, manage vendor relationships, and provide support to IT staff and end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management:
- Coordinate daily administrative operations within the IT department, including:
- Managing the hours and schedules of IT Staff
- Analyzing IT spend, tracking budget and resource allocation.
- Organize and maintain records related to IT inventory, licenses, and procurement
· Project Coordination:
- Track the progress of IT projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with business objectives.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders and provide status reports as needed.
· Vendor and Asset Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and support services.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain records of warranties and service agreements.
- Oversee the procurement of IT equipment and supplies and also ensuring minimum quantity on hand is critical resources is always met
- Team Support and Development:
- Support IT staff with administrative needs
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:
- 3 years in IT, office management, or a similar role combining technical and administrative responsibilities.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with IT systems, hardware, and software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, One Note, AmpleNote or other project management tools
