What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Max Apparel?

Sales Specialists make up the core of the Sales Team and are conversational selling experts. They work hand-in-hand with wholesale clients, helping them find the most suitable Hi-Viz apparel and custom caps. Sales Specialists are the primary point of contact for all client relations and are responsible for culturing, maintaining, and developing sales from these relationships. Sales Specialists are tasked with fielding new customer calls and emails to win new business, servicing and developing existing accounts, and working with other departments to streamline orders, providing overall excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

● Build and maintain wholesale business relationships through daily interaction via phone and email.

● Present persuasive presentations to both new and current customers.

● Provide an overall excellent customer experience from the first contact, to order completion and delivery.

● Overcome competitive sales objections and positively position products against the competition.

● Possess a working knowledge of MAX® Apparel products.

● Process quotes through the internal CRM in a timely fashion.

● Regularly maintain and update internal data systems.

● Coordinate with other departments to streamline customer order process and experience.

● Provide an accurate and positive representation of MAX® Apparel to all customers by adhering to all company procedures and policies, and reflecting the values inherent to MAX® Apparel culture.

● Implement sales strategies to achieve personal and company goals.

Required

● Proven sales experience; proficiency in conversational sales techniques and dynamics.

● Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.

● Able to listen to and follow directions and sales plans.

● Competency in Google Docs and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

● Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

● Ability to sit at and use a computer for 8 hours a day.

Preferred

● Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, and/or any equivalent education that demonstrates expertise in customer engagement.

● Previous experience in the ASI industry.

● Bilingual (Spanish).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
