JOB TITLE: Soft Count/Drop Team Member
SOFT COUNT/Drop Team Member Part Time
WORK HOURS: Graveyard/Drop Shift
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 year or older.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to register and pass background check requirements with the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Commission.
- Must have, and be able to practice, excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Knowledgeable of Nevada Gaming MICS and Company internal MICS.
- Ability to count currency efficiently.
- Knowledge of, and the ability to practice, basic Excel and computer skills.
- Ability to use 10-Key calculators effectively and efficiently without error.
- Ability to perform essential duties as outlined below.
- Ability to meet all required physical demands of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be free of any illegal substances.
- Must be detail orientated while multitasking.
- Must comply with Max Casino policies and procedures.
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: 100% indoor, frequent loud noise level, with cigar and cigarette smoke.
Team members must be able to go from working in a slow pace to working in a fast-paced environment very quickly and without hesitation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by team members assigned to this position. - Conduct revenue collection activities for each slot machine.
- Replace currency cans as needed/as applicable.
- Securely transport all revenue collected into the drop room.
- Accurately count and record all revenue collected through collection activities.
- Conduct all collection/drop/counting activities as assigned within the guidelines of Nevada Gaming Regulations and internal company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the work stations/Count room.
- Other duties as assigned by the management team.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sitting: Typically 1 hour in an 8 hour shift.
Standing: 3 ½ hours in an 8 hour shift. Alternates continuously with walking.
Walking: 3 ½ hours in an 8 hour shift. Alternates continuously with standing.
