Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using the Aloha POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Assist with food handling, ensuring that all items are prepared according to health and safety guidelines.
- Process cash register transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing assistance as needed to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and timely service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive guest interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift heavy trays and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is essential.
