Position Summary:
The Construction Project Manager will oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. This individual will manage timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and on-site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. They will work closely with various departments and stakeholders, providing leadership, vision, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
•Project Planning & Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, establish project goals, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to finalize plans.
•Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, approve expenditures, and seek cost-effective solutions to achieve financial targets.
•Team Leadership: Supervise site staff, subcontractors, and other project participants, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
•Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
•Quality Control: Inspect construction work regularly, ensuring compliance with standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.
•Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments to keep them informed on project progress, challenges, and timelines.
•Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
•Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records and prepare project status reports for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
•Experience: 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
•Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
•Skills:
•Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, and building codes.
•Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
•Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
