Main Responsibilities:
- Attend comprehensive exams to understand patient treatment needs.
- Enter treatment plans into WinOMS with proper coding.
- Determine dental benefit eligibility, limitations, and payment estimates necessary for financial arrangements.
- Explain insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expenses to patients.
- Educate patients about their dental benefits and present case fees and financial options.
- Ensure patients understand their treatment plan and overcome objections to facilitate a decision.
- Prepare an alert in WinOMS for PCCs on how treatment calculations were figured out.
- Add approved discounts as notes in WinOMS for the billing department.
- Prepare a formal financial agreement for patients to sign.
- Excellent communication skills.
