Key Responsibilities:
-CNC Machine Operation:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines, ensuring that they run efficiently and produce parts according to specifications.
- Load raw materials into CNC machines and monitor the machining process.
- Make adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality and meet production targets.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, such as cleaning and lubricating components.
- General Machining:
- Perform general machining tasks, including drilling, milling, turning, and grinding, as required.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machining processes and equipment.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards before they are released for shipment.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and maintenance tasks.
- Report any deviations from production plans or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and production.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining or manufacturing technology is preferred.
- Proven experience operating CNC machines and performing general machining tasks.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Basic computer skills for operating CNC software and maintaining production records.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
