About Us:
Max TA Group is expanding its Ivero Glass division, specializing in high-end frameless shower doors and custom glass systems. We are looking for a precision-driven Glass Fabricator to join our team on a part-time or contract basis. This role focuses specifically on drilling and prepping holes for hardware installation in annealed glass prior to tempering.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled fabricator with hands-on experience drilling holes in 3/8” and 1/2” annealed glass for frameless shower enclosures. This role will involve preparing glass panels for hardware such as hinges, handles, clips, and pivots—before the tempering process. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate glass drilling machines (manual or automated) to drill holes in annealed glass
* Read and interpret CAD drawings and drilling specifications
* Ensure precise alignment and sizing for all hardware cutouts
* Inspect glass for defects or damage before and after drilling
* Coordinate with our production and tempering teams to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
* Proven experience drilling hardware holes in glass (frameless shower glass experience preferred)
* Strong understanding of safety practices in handling and fabricating glass
* Familiarity with CNC or manual drilling equipment
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Attention to detail and craftsmanship
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the architectural glass industry
* Ability to work independently or as part of a small fabrication team
* Basic knowledge of tempering processes and limitations
