Role Description :
This is a full-time remote role (can be 1099 contractual) for a Data Scientist and Engineering expert at Maxana.ai. The Data Scientist will be responsible for building AI and ML models, performing analytical tasks, and software development utilizing the latest AI tools and frameworks. Daily tasks include analyzing data and developing data engineering solutions on a payments engineering team.
Responsibilities :
Work closely with Machine Learning / AI Engineers to understand, refine, and prioritize requirements.
Design and build our model serving service with simple, powerful APIs to capture our users’ / clients’ needs.
Build our core ML / AI model lifecycle management system to provide an ML / AI-aware release and deployment experience.
Improve machine learning data quality by using & building tools to automatically detect issues.
Create intelligent ML / AI-aware real-time monitoring & observability systems.
Work closely with partner teams to integrate with other ML / AI tools to create a seamless end-to-end experience.
Leverage open-source technologies like Kubeflow, Kubernetes, Spark, Docker, Airflow, Tensorflow, and PyTorch.
Qualifications :
Deep skills in AI and ML tools and frameworks.
Strong Analytical Skills.
Software Development expertise.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience in FinTech or financial services industry.
Ability to work independently and in a remote team.
