Please review the job details below. Maxar is seeking a Sr. Operations Financial Analyst to work within our Finance Operations team. This role can be based in Palo Alto, CA or remotely in the U.S. This position will support executive leadership and control account managers to ensure cost and schedule performance, including financial stability for indirect costs and capital projects. The Finance Operations team works closely with the CFO and senior executives to plan the business and allocate budget and resources to the company's satellite programs and other strategic R&D initiatives. Responsibilities: Maintain strong business relationships with Operations and Management to ensure accurate monthly/quarterly reporting Support the monthly/quarterly financial cycles to ensure the accuracy of demand and alignment with available resources Build knowledge of Maxar's business to become a key financial business partner to Maxar organizations Continuously assess financial and schedule risks and opportunities for reconciliation of functional labor and non-labor incurred costs and EAC forecasts Provide financial modeling and financial analysis to ensure data integrity across reporting systems Support Maxar's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes and overall budget compliance Lead monthly reviews of operating expenses, capital expenditures and headcount for departments as needed Minimum Requirements: Must be a U.S citizen or permanent resident Bachelor's degree or four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree Minimum of 5 years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in Finance Experience with SAP S4, SAC, Tableau and/or data visualization systems Advanced analytical skills, combined with excellent business judgment and strong ability to clearly and concisely communicate with management level personnel Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in team environment to support business objectives Advanced experience with Excel and other MS office applications Organized, detail-oriented individual with ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy of information Integrity with confidential information #LI-TB1 Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is: $82,000.00 - $136,000.00 annually. Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
