**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Maxar. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission partners and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data evaluation and assessment efforts
- Shape data engineering approaches for analytic tradecraft improvements
- Identify and document gaps within our data corpus and analytical capabilities
- Work closely with software developers to field requirements and provide feedback on application changes
- Provide SME support to end-users for various data or application questions and requests

Maxar is a multi-faceted software development and systems administration team that builds and maintains software applications backed by a self-managed cloud infrastructure with a true big-data footprint (over 12 petabytes). Our diverse background of experience in mission support and software development enables us to solve unique and challenging intelligence problems in support of special operations analysts and their ongoing activities.
Requirements:
- A current/active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a CI polygraph
- Experience formulating a repeatable process for data evaluations and communicating findings to government officials
- In-depth knowledge of technical data types based on previous research and work with data sets of interest
- At least 5 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent tasks and work in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Comfortable briefing government leadership
- Experience conducting Activity-Based Intelligence or Pattern of Life analysis
- Experience applying, improving, and documenting innovative analytic methodologies
- Familiarity with Gitlab, Jupyter Notebooks, or Zepplin
- Experience working with other intel analysts and/or special operations customers
