Talent Program Design

Lead and execute the strategy and implementation of talent development program infrastructure to support company roadmap and ensure organizational effectiveness, including business rhythms, processes and procedures.

Contribute to the design, implementation, and management of performance enablement programs and learning and development initiatives that drive high performance and enhance our employee experience.

Utilize talent development data to provide analysis and recommendations to senior leadership to enhance employee experience and improve business outcomes.

Lead company-wide engagement and organizational health activities, including formal and informal feedback gathering, action planning, recognition, and analytics of overall trends.

Providing best practices and process improvements throughout the talent acquisition cycle.

Documenting process changes, such as process maps, team structure charts, and detailed procedures.
Talent Development Strategy

Lead efforts to build a strong bench of leadership talent at all levels, including the identification and development of high-potential employees and overseeing the administration and evaluation of both assessments and related development activities for executives.

Build processes that will help us work to our fullest potential with an eye towards operating at scale.

Support the development and execution of inclusive people programs and strategies that engage, retain, and develop Maxar employees, including but not limited to performance development, employee and manager development, engagement surveys, and employee recognition.

Manage Succession Planning activities in the organization to ensure business continuity and to build the quality and depth of leadership.

Partner across the organization with leadership to design, develop, and implement programs such as performance management, leadership development, talent reviews, mentoring, and succession planning.

Manage the organization's talent review activities, ensuring development is thoughtfully considered and appropriate action is taken.
Strategic Business Partner

Partner across HR function to ensure clear lines of ownership, efficient processes, and a great experience for Maxar and candidates.

Partner with internal communications to plan and execute marketing and communication to educate employees on self-service resources.

Identify and manage vendor relationships to ensure delivery and implementation of services that meet business needs.

Serve as a talent management subject matter expert (SME) and proactively stay current with industry trends to identify new and different ways of developing and accelerating talent.
What makes you qualified

BA/BS degree required.

8 years of experience in HR, people leadership, or equivalent organizational development roles.

Strong influencing skills to quickly build credibility, establish rapport, drive results, and engage in executive-level partnerships.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$131,000.00 - $218,000.00 annually.Maxar employees must follow all applicable Maxar policies and COVID-19 requirements as well as those of Maxar customers and third parties.
