Maxar Space Systems is currently seeking a motivated and creative Web Design & Communications Intern to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you will help shape the development of our new company website while supporting and enhancing our internal and external communications strategy. This role offers the opportunity to work on website design and optimization, as well as leverage the website as a powerful tool to boost engagement and marketing efforts.
Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.Responsibilities : Assist in the design, development, and launch of the new company website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand guidelines.Collaborate with the team to create cohesive content strategies that drive traffic from social platforms to the website.Optimize the website for performance, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and integration with social media channels.Create and update internal and external communications content, including posts, graphics, and videos, in line with brand guidelines.Monitor website analytics, track communication traffic, and provide insights to enhance both website and communications performance.Minimum Requirements : Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent residentStrong knowledge of HTML, web design principles, and web optimization techniques (SEO, speed, mobile responsiveness).Experience using design tools to create visually engaging content.Familiarity with internal and external communications, and best practices for digital marketing.Strong communication and writing skills.Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.In support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions.
