Maxar Space Systems is seeking a Linux / Windows Systems Administrator who's excited to work in the space industry modernizing and supporting the infrastructure that supports satellite flight software development, verification and validation, assembly integration and test, and mission control operations. This person will support, protect, and implement new hardware / software that support our Maxar 300, Maxar 500, Maxar 1300, and Power Propulsion Element platforms.This team member will be on site in our Palo Alto and San Jose offices!

Your Project : As a member of the Engineering Support Team / System Administrators, you will be working to support the engineers who develop flight and ground software for validation and verification. This includes ensuring high availability of the infrastructure and modernizing solutions for scalability, availability, and consistency.
What you'll do day-to-day (with your colleagues) :
- Collaborate with hardware and software leads to understand, capture, and execute on requirements and design specifications
- Troubleshoot infrastructure problems and provide solutions for fixes.
- Design, develop, and upgrade operating systems that support existing tooling and future tooling
- Collaborate across company for common fixes and best practices and networking infrastructure

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
