We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Human Resources and assist with a variety of tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, and record management. HR Assistant may also assist with payroll processing and onboarding. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Recruitment:
- Assist with the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, reviewing applications, and communicating with candidates.
- Prepare onboarding materials, assisting with new hire orientation, and ensuring new employees have the necessary resources and have provided the required onboarding documents.
- Answer employee inquiries, processing employee requests, and maintaining open communication between HR and employees.
- Organize and maintain employee records, ensuring confidentiality, and performing periodic audits of HR files.
- Assist with payroll processing, including tracking employee data and answering payroll-related questions.
- Answer phones, scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees, applicants, and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills for managing records, scheduling tasks, and maintaining office efficiency.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Proficiency in using HR software (ADP Workforce Now) spreadsheets, and word processing programs (i.e. Microsoft Office).
- Ability to identify and resolve employee issues and questions.
