What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist (Finish Mills) + 2nd or 3rd Shift Pay position at maxcessintl?
Primary Responsibility: Responsible for running finish milling operations on a Finish Mill.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform finish milling, drilling and tapping to final dimensions as specified on the engineering drawings and standard procedures.
· Set up milling machine as required to perform individual finish operations.
· Maintain all oil levels and lubricate machine daily. Inform supervisor of any equipment defects.
· Set correct feeds and speeds as required for milling, drilling and tapping of different types of material.
· Deburr and polish finished product as required.
· Record time accurately for each operation performed using established system.
· Move completed work to proper holding area for disposition following Quality at the Source expectations.
· Maintain neat and clean working area, including the removal and disposal of machined chips from machine base.
