Are you ready to power positive change?
Your Mission : As our Senior Staff Equipment Maintenance Engineer , based in San Jose, CA and reporting to the R&D Engineering Manager, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safety of your co-workers by ensuring that all work is done using the correct tools and PPE. You will be responsible for establish maintenance guidelines, procedures, and policies related to all equipment in the Lab. Your work with the Lap Operations and R&D teams will work towards ensuring that R&D and the company achieve their goals.
Make Your Mark : How You Will Drive Change :
- Responsible for being certified on all machines and processes within their area.
- Responsible for the Yield, MTTR, MTBA, and Availability of their assigned equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repair on all Lab equipment.
- Support Lab Operations by ensuring equipment is operating at target levels.
- Ensure that equipment will be operated according to defined equipment and process parameters.
- Prepare shift reports related to their area of responsibility.
- Support the evaluation of equipment in the Lab to determine the most appropriate and cost-effective platform for the manufacture of company products.
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of Lab equipment.
- Establish solutions for increasing uptime and decrease equipment problems that affect the Lab Operations.
- Provide onsite technical support to Lab Operations during equipment downtime situations including during extended hours (overtime) and weekends in time critical situations.
- Always comply with Environment, Health, Safety and Quality standards, rules and regulations.

The US base salary range for this position is $152,000-$190,000 benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
