Automotive Dealership Controller / Office Manager - Jersey City Kia
Jersey City Kia are currently looking for an EXPERIENCED Automotive Controller / Office Manager to join our team! Previous CDK experience is REQUIRED for this position. Previous Dealership Accounting experience is REQUIRED. This position offers a generous base salary in addition to industry leading benefits. Out of town candidates are encouraged to apply!!!
REQUIREMENTS - Previous AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP Accounting experience is required! Candidates must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, function in a TRUE open door / team-based work environment and work nights and weekends. We are only interested in forward thinking, team players who are open to new ideas and concepts! The ability to work well with others and be a TRUE leader are paramount to succeeding within our dealership.

Responsibilities :
Prepare complete financial statements and submit to the manufacture and management in accordance with established timeframesInterpret and analyze financial statementsKeep the Owner of dealership informed on the trends and cash needs of the businessDevelop and maintain an effective cash management systemManage the day-to-day accounting operations of the store to ensure that all transactions are recorded in compliance with company accounting processes and policiesClose the books accurately each monthPrepare and submit required statements and reportsManage and safeguard the stores assets and ensure that internal controls are in placeAssist department managers in reading and interpreting their financial reports and in creating action plans needed to improve their operationRespond to request for information and assistance in a timely mannerWork with General Manager to improve revenue or reduce expense in order to meet or exceed budget and grow the businessWork with regional staff to ensure that corporate initiatives are attainedDemonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliersAdheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standardsMaintain a strong working relationship with ALL Department ManagersAPPLY TO THIS AD TO SUBMIT YOUR RESUME!

Requirements
Previous Dealership Accounting ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university or commensurate experienceFive years of experience in leadership roles with increasing degree of responsibilityAbility to work with high performing personnelPrior dealership or operational accounting experience, with increasing responsibilitiesAbility to set priorities and work independentlyStrong attention to detail and sense of urgencyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPossess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
