What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Private Duty Nurse position at Maxim Healthcare Service?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN will work closely with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Perform focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the state where you practice.
- Current Health Certificate.
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year of prior LPN experience preferred.
