What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN 1.1 School Nurse position at Maxim Healthcare Services?
Salary: $30 - $34 / per hour.
This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities during day shift.
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care to a student in the school setting with the Jefferson County Public School (JCPS) District. The LPN will deliver skilled nursing interventions and ensure the health and safety of the student throughout the school day.
This role requires the LPN to work closely with the same student for the duration of the school day.
Paid training is offered for any skills needed per student.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube Feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, Diabetic care, etc.),
- May ride the bus to and from school with patient
Requirements:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensures in the state in which the nurse practices in
- Current Health Certificate (per facility).
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior LVN/LPN experience preferred.
