Pay Rate: $30-$32/ hour*
Maxim Healthcare in Irvine is hiring for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) work with
G-tube Pediatric patients in their own homes.
Responsibilities:
• Administer G-tube feedings and monitor tolerance.
• Document patient care, including feedings, medications, and observations.
• Educate family on G-tube care, feeding schedules, and emergency procedures.
• Monitor for complications like infection or tube displacement.
• Administer medications via G-tube as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize care.
• Ensure infection control and maintain G-tube hygiene.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to the patient and family.
Qualifications:
- Currently licensed as an LVN in the state in which the LVN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
