What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead - Payroll Customer Service position at Maxim Healthcare Services?
- Coaches and counsels the Customer Service team as needed
- Works cooperatively across teams and departments to provide quality customer service to field offices and co-workers
- Maintains and enforces all Maxim policies, procedures, and regulations
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and promote quality improvement
- Continuously evaluates personnel, encouraging team and individual growth through frequent meetings, including quarterly one-on-one meetings and annual reviews
- Audits team performance using weekly reports and other methods to improve performance and ensure compliance
- Reports issues to supervisors promptly, and strives to reduce errors
- Attends educational seminars or conferences as needed or as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of payroll experience preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience employing knowledge of payroll rules and regulations
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to successfully work with other employees, customers, and management across department
- Must thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment and successfully manage changing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to successfully and professionally manage frequent work interruptions
- Computer proficiency required
- Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
