Job Description Summary:
The Director of Business Operations is responsible to facilitate and support the Consumer and Cloud Infrastructure Group (CCI Group) in the definition and execution of the strategic initiatives/projects and operational requirements for the broader organization. In addition, the Director of Business Operations will serve as a trusted senior advisor to the CCI executive staff determining current state issues, assessing future needs across the organization, and identifying initiatives and projects that will achieve our key business goals and objectives.Job Description:
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
1. Strategic Initiatives and Project Management:
- Facilitating and determining the strategic initiatives for the organization with executive staff, including defining the key metrics of success. (Quarterly and annually)
- Tracking and monitoring the progress of initiatives towards achieving specific goals and outcomes. Ensuring follow-through by owners and key players to sustain the momentum needed to drive these initiatives, internally and or cross functionally.
- Provide progress and completion reports, including impact and achievement of success metrics.
- Provide additional assistance and support to initiative owners where necessary and as assigned.
- Facilitate and manage special projects as assigned
2. Operations:
Organizational Communications: ( Internal, Cross-Functional and External)
- Works with the CCI staff and compiles a quarterly Group CCI report for Vince and staff with help of BU leaders and Biz partners. This report covers the following topics:
- Financials
- Market news and background on Market movers
- Customer update
- Execution metrics
- Key Project updates
- Talent initiatives and organizational updates
- Key goals for next quarter
- Other (sales alignment initiatives, corporate events, press coverage,…)
- Monitor performance metrics and create a monthly report
- Execution efficiency KPI’s
- Create Improvement initiatives
- Manage Group Communications
- Assist in preparing the presentations for the Board Of Director’s meeting, All-hands meetings, Site visits, High level customer visits, Annual Goals discussion, Investor relationship presentations
- Attend off-sites and staff meetings
- Program Manage Key Initiatives
- Manage and Report progress on Key Initiatives that were agreed on at the beginning of the Fiscal Year

Monitors results and outcomes versus plans and provides the rigor and control necessary to stay on course and correct deviations from the plans. Demonstrates good judgment when escalating critical issues to higher-level management if own efforts to enlist support have not succeeded. Must demonstrate integrity, tact, poise under pressure, confidentiality, and diplomacy as a senior representative of the organization.
- Initiatives and Project Management: Make certain successful achievement in the execution of all initiatives and projects. All projects must follow a process to analyze, define, develop, manage, implement, and evaluate to ensure the flow and timely completion of activities that deliver results. Must be able to multi-task, anticipates obstacles, barriers and or gaps that would impact the initiative or project success. Work continuously to improve, resolve, and deliver expected results. - Technology Background
Requirement: Trained level of technical acumen in Analog Devices products and technology
Minimum Education and Experience:
Baccalaureate degree is required. Advanced degrees and or experience in operations or organizational development related fields are preferred. Individuals must have: 5-10 years of Program Manager/Project Manager for mission-critical initiatives within functional organizations such as Sales or Marketing, Customer Operation, Business Development, HR, Finance and or Legal. Strong people management and coaching skills to provide clear direction and drive for results. Cross-organizational and cross-functional influence, interpersonal skills, and ability to lead and drive for results with teams that are not your direct reports. Proven and effective organizational prioritization approach, performance management orientation and change management experience. Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience in strategic planning and execution. Superior written and verbal communication skills, representing information before support teams, executive management, and corporate boards with tact and diplomacy. Communicates and shares new information, learning, and methods with cross-functional team members to achieve organizational goals. Must perform moderate to complex work involving a wide range of difficult problems. Must exercise self-initiative, judgment, and decision-making ability to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to the moderate complex work. Must be able to work independently, with little to no instruction on routine work, but receives general instruction on new assignments. Must have strong project planning and implementation skills. Must be able to exercise judgment, independence, and initiative to complete all tasks and meet deadlines. Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to operate effectively in a team environment.
