Job Summary:
The Vice President of Accounting & Finance will be responsible for financial controls across the globe, leading financial strategy and management. This role oversees teams in various geo-locations in all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, reporting, payroll, audits, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Own general accounting functions in compliance with GAAP including monthly financial closing process. Control and manage AP, AR, Collections, and international teams in 4 geo-locations including USA, MXO, IND, CHN. Maintain a system of accounting policies and procedures to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of reported financials. Manage global accounting teams. Prepare and file Annual Corporate tax filings, Shareholder tax filings, sales tax filings for all sales verticals, and international subsidiary tax-filings including VAT/GST management. Manage payroll functions with site leaders in all locations and Human Capital Management strategies while adhering to regulatory compliance. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to the organization and implement risk management policies and procedures. Develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth and profitability, preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability. Stay current with changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments. Serve as a strategic partner in the organization with the Executive Team, contributing to overall direction and success of the company.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role. Proven track record of financial leadership, strategic planning, and driving results in a complex and dynamic environment. Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Strategic mindset, ability to think critically, anticipate future trends, and develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
