We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our pediatric therapy team. This full-time or part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with children from birth to 3 years of age with varying delays.
About the Team
Our transdisciplinary team includes speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and child development specialists. We utilize proprietary software and AI for therapist-client matching, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized occupational therapy services to children in their homes or daycare settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with parents and other healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with clients and families to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with children with developmental delays
- A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
- Current certifications in CPR and TB testing
- State licensure/certification from the California Board of Occupational Therapy (COTA/OTA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
