Maxima Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our pediatric therapy team. This full-time or part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with children from birth to 3 years of age with varying delays.
About the Role
This position involves providing individual services to children in clients' homes or daycares. Our team utilizes proprietary software and AI for therapist-client matching, allowing for autonomy in client selection and flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to children in their homes or daycare settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with parents and other healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with clients and families to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children with developmental delays
- A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
- Current certifications in CPR and TB testing
- State licensure/certification from the California Board of Occupational Therapy (COTA/OTA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
