ABOUT THE COMPANY
Birley Bakery is the newest opening from the club owner and entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private member’s clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s in London.
Opening in early 2025, Birley Bakery will be located on the Upper East Side’s Madison Avenue, and aims to create a warm and welcoming environment, inspired by the classic concept of Boulangerie-Patisserie. We will fulfil the need of every household craving exceptional quality, by delivering simple yet elegantly crafted bread, pastries and desserts.
POSITION SUMMARY
IT Support Analyst at Birley Bakery provides both on-site and remote support across all NYC locations, handles IT-related incidents and service requests and coordinates third-party engineer visits when necessary. The IT Support analyst is expected to maintain clear communication with users on tasks and incident status.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following and may change or be adjusted at any time:
- Troubleshooting end-user devices (laptops, desktops, printers, iPads) and Point of Sale (POS) systems via:
- Remote tools
- Third-party engineer coordination
- On-site installation and support
- Managing hardware requests and maintaining the IT asset register.
- Analyzing support trends and reporting insights.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS)
- Strong communication, organization and stakeholder management skills
- A service-oriented mindset
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and support practices
- Proactivity, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach
- Proficiency with desktop and laptop hardware
- Experience with Windows, MS Office Suite, and Apple iOS
Preferred:
- 2 years in an IT Service Desk environment
- Familiarity with Active Directory
- Experience with the Halo IT Management platform
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to be flexible with job demands and open-minded when being asked to complete tasks.
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant.
- Ability to operate with grace under pressure.
- Ability to move or handle equipment throughout the restaurant generally weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours a day.
