Opening in early 2025, Maxime’s mission is to provide exceptional and discreet service for our members through unparalleled hospitality. - The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following and may change or be adjusted at any time:
- Maintains complete knowledge of Maxime’s policies and procedures and ensures that all practices and policies are being upheld
- Prepares bar for service by filling wells with ice; preparing fruit trays; restocking the bar with beer, liquor, wine, glassware, and juices; and stocking trash cans and towels
- Maintain cleanliness and stocking of bar throughout the shift
- Properly rotates products and ensures perishable items are labeled
- Regularly checks the draught beers to make sure kegs are functional; changes kegs as needed in accordance with safety standards
- Collects empty glasses from guests at the bar; washes and polishes all glassware
- Adheres to all Department of Health and Safety standards related to food handling, hygiene, and alcohol service
- Completes daily opening and closing side work, including cleaning the bar and removing trash
- Maintains sanitation to Department of Health standards, keeping service and dining areas clean and organized
- Supports bartenders with other aspects of bar maintenance as needed
- Attends mandatory meetings
- Adheres to posted schedules
- Completes other duties as assigned by managementnt

- Minimum 2 years working as a barista in a fine dining restaurant or hotel environment in a similar capacity.
- Proficiency in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, POS platforms, reservation management platforms, and various business analysis programs.
- Current NYC Food Protection Certificate.
- Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to be flexible with job demands and open-minded when being asked to complete tasks.
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant.
- Ability to operate with grace under pressure.
- Ability to move or handle equipment throughout the restaurant generally weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours a day.
