We are hiring a Recruitment Coordinator for Maxime’s!
Maxime’s is NYC’s newest private member’s club from entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private member’s clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s in London. Opening in early 2025, Maxime’s mission is to provide exceptional and discreet service for our members through unparalleled hospitality. Our members will feel as though they are in a private home, enjoying outstanding food and wine surrounded by stunning decor.
The Recruitment Co-Ordinator will execute the hiring process to recruit hourly team members. Reporting to the Human Resources manager, the Recruitment Co-Oridnator will liaise with department heads to ensure we are meeting staffing goals for the various outlets including the restaurants, bars, front of house, culinary roles, Birley bakery and offsite production kitchen. The right candidate will be experienced in high volume recruiting, have a background in hospitality/human resources, and will exude the warmth and sophistication of Maxime’s brand.
Initially this is to be a 6 months fixed term contract.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage job ads; ensuring accurate listings are posted on all the requisite job sites
- Coordinate with the Human Resources Manager and heads of department to update internal vacancy list
- Prepare and modify job descriptions to attract qualified candidates
- Source candidates, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews and trails
- Plan and execute onsite recruitment fairs
- Prepare and send offer letters
- Ensures legal compliance and validity of recruitment activities by educating staff on policies and procedures
- Maintains complete knowledge of Maxime’s policies and procedures and ensures that all practices and policies are being upheld
- Completes other duties as assigned by management
- 2 years of experience in recruiting and talent selection in the hospitality industry
- Experience with high volume recruitment for new store openings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
- Quickly forms and nurtures strong relationships with teammates and candidates
- Exudes warmth, positivity, and professionalism
- Polished personal presentation that represents Maxime’s brand
- Experience using Harri (ATS) advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- General HR knowledge strongly preferred
- Bilingual, fluent in verbal, reading and written communication skills in English and Spanish is not required but highly desirable
