Shop Hand/Laborer, Body Parts Repair

We are a well established oil field service company located in Odessa. We currently have an opening for a shop hand/laborer.

This is a full time position and requires someone who can follow directions and show up for work every day. This person must pay attention to details.

Daily responsibilities will be sweeping up and picking up trash around the shop. Taking garbage out. Repairing body panels. Cleaning equipment- this consists of using a high power pressure washer with solvents to clean the exterior, and vacuuming and wiping down the interior. Our machines get very dirty and you will be expected to clean them up nicely.

Basic mechanical skills are a plus.

You must possess a valid drivers license as there will be time we will need you to drive and pick up parts and also deliver parts to our guys in the field.

You must be able to repair body panels. We are not looking for show quality work but we like our equipment to look good. You need to be able to pound out dents, mix and apply Bondo, sand body filler, and apply spray primer and top coat colors.

There will be weed removal, trash disposal, vehicle cleaning, equipment cleaning, sweeping, picking up, organizing, manual labor, equipment operation, driving, and paperwork all required to perform this job successfully.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
