What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visitation Case Aide position at Maximum Family Care?
Maximum Family Care is contracted through the state of Arizona's Department of Child Safety (DCS) to facilitate supervised visitations between parents and their children who have been placed in foster care. Our goal is to provide a positive visitation experience to help in the process of reunifying Arizona families while parents work on the skills needed to raise their children properly and safely. Our case-aide position starts at $20.00 per hour plus cancellation payments. Employees must complete orientation and on-site training prior to becoming a Case Aide (training is paid for on the first paycheck after completion of a new hire’s first solo visit)
JOB DUTIES:
- Transport children to their supervised visits with their parents
- Enforce specific visitation guidelines to ensure a safe and positive visitation environment
- Document in detail client interactions and other visit information (visitation summaries)
- Submit visitation summaries and travel logs via email within 24 hours of the visit
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST AT LEAST 23 YEARS OF AGE
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
- LEVEL ONE FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD
- BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK
- REQUIRES THE USE OF YOUR PERSONAL VEHICLE
- CURRENT AZ DRIVERS LICENSE (no more than 1 recent moving violation)
- MAINTAIN PERSONAL VEHICLE INSURANCE (at or above State minimum)
- INSURANCE MUST HAVE YOUR NAME ON IT (may provide declaration with your name)
- REQUIRES THE USE OF YOUR PERSONAL CELLPHONE
- REQUIRES THE USE OF A PERSONAL TABLET AND/OR LAPTOP
- STRONG WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS; requires documentation of events, behaviors, and interactions during each visit which must be turned in within 24 hours of the visit
- EVENING AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED
- TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
- Spanish speaking/writing is a plus
- Experience working with special needs children is a plus
