Case Worker
Full-Time | In-Person | Honolulu, Hawaii
The Case Worker will support Social Workers and Attorneys in assessing and addressing the personal and social needs of clients. This role involves direct client contact and administrative support, assisting in matters such as care home placement, public benefits, budgeting, and housing. The Case Worker will help prepare case materials and coordinate services for clients involved in conservatorship, guardianship, trust, and probate administration cases.
The Case Worker works closely with Social Workers, Attorneys, and other staff to support the effective delivery of fiduciary services to vulnerable adults and individuals with disabilities. This is a collaborative position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a desire to serve the community.
This position is located at Maximum Legal Service Corporation (MaxCorp), a Hawaii nonprofit based in downtown Honolulu. It is a full-time, in-person position. Regular attendance during office hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) is required.
Pay:
Starting at $26.00 per hour, depending on education and experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:
May direct the work of clerical staff in lower job classifications
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports Social Workers and Attorneys in gathering and organizing client information
Assists in preparing case files, summaries, and documents for new and ongoing cases
Helps coordinate care and services, including housing, benefits, and budgeting support
Conducts client interviews and prepares brief reports for internal review
Schedules meetings and appointments, and may attend with Social Workers or Attorneys
Tracks and records billable time and case updates in client management systems
Researches community resources or government programs under supervision
Maintains client confidentiality and ensures secure handling of sensitive materials
Monitors relevant regulatory or policy updates and shares information with the team
Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field preferred
Experience working in a social service, legal, or healthcare setting is desirable
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
