Payroll Specialist – $110,000 – $140,000 Bonus – ChicagoFrazer Jones is delighted to support a leading name within the financial services industry on the recruitment of a Payroll Specialist to join the business on a permanent basis.Our client requires 4 days per week in the office.Responsibilities : Maintain and update employee payroll records for multiple entities, including changes to wages, work authorizations, FLSA classifications, and compliance with internal pay policies.Process and audit semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments of wages, bonuses, and retroactive adjustments.Manage off-cycle payroll payments and report non-payroll benefits through on-demand payments and manual adjustments as required.Monitor and enforce time tracking for non-exempt employees, prepare related documentation, and provide training to ensure compliance.Audit, review, and reconcile payroll registers; submit funding requests and make corrections to ensure accurate payroll processing.Prepare journal entries post-payroll and deliver monthly payroll reports to the Accounting team for efficient financial reconciliation.Troubleshoot and maintain Workday payroll system integrations, collaborating with the HR Workday team on system updates and testing.Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations; support tax reconciliations, audits, and year-end payroll activities.Partner with the global HR team to identify opportunities for payroll policy enhancements and process optimization.Perform additional duties as assigned or needed.Skills & Experience Required : Strong US multistate exposure.Experience of processing bonus payments would be an advantage.Strong Excel knowledge.The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
