Job Description
Job Title: Receiver FLSA/Grade: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Department: Operations
Position Summary:
The Receiver performs all duties related to incoming and outgoing merchandise by performing the following duties.
The position of Receiver is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one work week.
The Receiver shall be accountable and supervised by the Warehouse Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Loads, unloads and transfer product to designated area in accordance with training procedures.
- Stocks products in warehouse to include utilizing equipment and lifting and carrying product to place in storage area.
- Inspects merchandise for deficiencies or breakages prior to receiving and/or shipping.
- Records all product discrepancies on appropriate paperwork.
- Completes inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
- Organizes product to prepare for shipment as needed.
- Fills customer order in accordance with invoice, complete appropriate paperwork, and places a copy with the product for shipment.
- Maintains a neat and orderly workplace at all times to include moving pallets, sweeping, and removing/disposing of debris.
- Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training and report any dangerous conditions to a member of management immediately.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

11:00 AM to 7:00 PM or until finish.
