What are the responsibilities and job description for the Self-Storage Manager position at MAXIMUM SECURITY SELF STORAGE?
Manage Self Storage facility.
𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• Manage day to day operations of site.
• Required to live on-site in provided apartment.
• Conduct monthly job training sessions.
• Develop customer relations by identifying storage needs and solutions.
• Renting and processing new tenant lease agreements and associated paperwork.
• Vacate departing tenants.
• Daily lock checks.
• Receiving and processing customer payments.
• Bank deposits, as needed.
• Close out system daily, balancing cash, checks and credit cards.
• Collection calls.
• Pre-Lien through Lien process
• Working with vendors.
• Making sure all permits are kept current, including fire, elevator, and backflow devices.
• Working with tenants in commercial office building.
• Ensuring the facility is kept clean and orderly.
• General Office Duties.

• Conduct safety session/meetings.
Follow LCT Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses and gloves) as required for the task or work area.
• Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Ability to handle high volume at a fast pace.
• Must be detail oriented, efficient, and highly organized.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experienced self storage management .
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of basic power tools preferred.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
