Maximum Security is hiring a motivated and experienced Command Center Supervisor to lead operations in our state-of-the-art Security Command Center in Huntington, NY. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee real-time surveillance operations, ensure procedural compliance, and help guide a high-performing team dedicated to protecting local communities and businesses.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Command Center, ensuring that surveillance systems are monitored efficiently and according to protocol.
- Supervise and support a team of surveillance operators, providing leadership, training, and real-time guidance.
- Accurately review and complete detailed reports of incidents, events, and responses.
- Troubleshoot and escalate equipment issues to the appropriate technical support teams.
- Respond to incoming calls, radio communications, and email inquiries in a professional, courteous manner.
- Serve as the primary liaison between security personnel, emergency responders, and law enforcement when needed.
- Ensure proper use of all CCTV and monitoring tools while enforcing compliance with company standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a security operations or surveillance role, with supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple real-time events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using computers, surveillance software, and communication systems.
- Calm, composed decision-maker with excellent situational awareness.
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accuracy in fast-paced environments.
