We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team in Miami International Airport. Job Summary :
As a Human Resources Assistant, you will support the HR department with various administrative tasks. Time & Attendance, Payroll Processing and other responsibilities such as : employee onboarding, employee records and general HR services. You will be one of the points of contact for employees seeking HR assistance and will play an essential role in maintaining a smooth and efficient HR operation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Time and Attendance system and Payroll Processing - This is the main responsibility of the position. Maintaining accurate records, monitor discrepancies and inconsistencies, track and verify overtime, processing payroll for 900 employees. Ensure all hours are coded properly and billing information is available for the accounting department, Process GL and Garnishments as needed,
- New Hires Processing - ensure all new hires are properly hired in the system and I-9's are completed by the due date.
- Onboarding : Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing onboarding materials, scheduling orientations, and conducting initial orientation sessions.
- Employee Relations : Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing assistance with general HR-related inquiries, benefits, and policies.
- HR Projects : Assist with various HR initiatives, including performance management, employee engagement, and training programs.
- Administrative Support : Assist in maintaining employee files, records, and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
