POSITION PURPOSE
The Community Ambassador provides exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents. This role will utilize in depth understanding of hospitality, property knowledge and be a resource to the community. We also work as a team participant with the office staff to ensure completion of daily administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Works with the on-site staff to provide general assistance for residents and staff; also assisting with administrative duties
- Oversees customer/resident services for retention purposes
- Creates Resident Information Sheet to provide
- Participates in inspections to ensure apartment units, common areas and grounds are maintained according to property standards
- Conducts general follow up calls including work orders, after move-in, or resident events to ensure resident satisfaction
- Assists residents with transactions and property systems such as online reservations, service requests, portal access and additional rentable items
- Assists in resolving all resident complaints and violations in a timely manner
- Assists with maintaining records, reports, and files
- Assists in resident event execution
- Other duties may be assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer Service experience preferred
Certificates and Licenses
- Valid driver’s license along with good driving record and auto insurance is required
- Maintain Fair Housing Certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong follow-up, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong mathematical skills and basic knowledge of accounting principles helpful
- Ability to manage and work in a team environment
- Strong ability for attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, as well as Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Yardi computer system helpful

WORK STANDARDS

- Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
- Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve the property’s efficiency, profitability, and productivity.
- Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, leasing and sales tools, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training programs and by accessing other sources of information and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.
