What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contact Center Sales Agent position at Maximus Real Estate Partners?
Position Purpose:
The Contact Center Sales agent is responsible for handling incoming leads related to apartment inquiries through phone, text and email, providing excellent customer service, and converting leads into successful sales transactions. They will work closely with property leasing agents, managers and resident services to ensure that department, asset and company goals are met. They will develop and maintain a pipeline of relationships with prospects to ensure continued and repeat business for the Maximus portfolio.
Essential Duties:
- Answers prospects inquiries through outbound calls, texts and emails in a timely and established manner and cadence.
- Handle inbound calls from prospective renters who are interested in one or more Maximus properties.
- Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, actively listening to their needs and preferences.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding available properties, pricing, financing options, and other relevant details.
- Build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers to gain their trust and confidence in our services.
- Identify and qualify leads based on customer requirements, budget, and timeline.
- Effectively communicate and explain the leasing process, including necessary paperwork and legalities, to customers.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge about the rental market, local neighborhoods, property features, and market trends.
- Utilize call scripts and follow sales procedures to guide conversations and optimize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful transactions.
- Effectively communicates with prospects, overcoming objections and prequalifying all prospects to ensure they are properly qualified.
- Schedules qualified tours for onsite leasing agents at all maximus assets.
- Creates detailed portfolios in property management software for prospects and documents specific details that resonate with the prospects search.
- Establishes and nourishes a prospect pipeline to meet department, asset and company sales goals.
- Provides reports and other systems data to support leasing and marketing efforts.
- In-person site visits are required on occasion to develop a better knowledge set of products and strengthen team relationships.
- Maintains open line of communication with all team members through phone, Teams messaging, email to develop strong working relationships.
- Maintains CRM dashboards, ensuring that all leads/issues logged have been cleared by the end of the business day.
- Maintains all Fair Housing and regulatory training certificates.
- Engages prospects in established timelines with use of company correspondence via all contact channels.
- Complies weekly market survey of comp and reports to Contact Center Manager.
- Participates in regular goal review and goal setting sessions with managers and coworkers.
- Trouble shoots and problem solves with Credit and RS team members to streamline efficiency and effectiveness.

- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal documents, sell, and explain apartment features, and answer questions.
- Strong interest to excel in a sales environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, property management applications (preferably Yardi and/or On- Site), and spreadsheet management programs (Excel) in order to complete required reports and documents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to produce error-free documentation and create orderly systems and processes.
