Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator focused on managing AWS workloads, overseeing system deployment, security, and compliance.
This administrator will use AWS tools to ensure systems run efficiently, troubleshooting as needed.
Their expertise is vital for maintaining DoD system integrity and performance on the cloud. This position is contingent upon award. Responsibilities :
- Deploy and manage AWS workloads, focusing on security and compliance.
- Utilize the AWS Console and CLI to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot systems.
- Support development teams with system administration on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Adhere to best practices using AWS Well-Architected Framework standards. Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code : TCS221, T5, Band 8 Qualifications :
- Active TS / SCI clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field ( a master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience).
- 10 years of experience in systems administration on both Linux & Windows platforms.
- Demonstrated experience and / or training in system administration in relation to workloads on AWS systems, Amazon EKS & in supporting development & testing teams. Kubernetes CKA certification and / or training and 2 years of applied experience on containerized platforms. IAT Level II 3 of the following trainings or certs below.
4 years of experience may be substituted, as applicable, to each cert.
