Description & Requirements

The Maximus Health TX Enrollment Broker Project's Training Team is now accepting applications for a Specialist - Training Curriculum Developer opening.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing training content for customer facing and support staff for the Health TX Enrollment Broker Project. This content would cover new system build releases, training modules, and other related media. This role would be perfect for someone with teaching/training experience, enjoys partnering with various stakeholders, and has a creative flair.

This position is a full time, salaried role with a remote working arrangement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop training curriculum and training materials based on proven adult learning techniques.
  • Create and develop training scenarios and update comprehensive training environment data resources to ensure that systems training mimics the production environment systems tools used by employees on a daily basis.
  • Work extensively with business partners and SMEs to perform needs analysis, develop learning objectives and design deliverables that meet learner and stakeholder needs and organizational quality standards.
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative assessment tools to measure learner requirements, competencies, and organizational quality standards.
  • Teach instructional programs in accordance with training or other course requirements and organize materials to be presented.
  • Develop assessments to measure and assess effectiveness of the curriculum and learner performance in the workplace, integrate results into new and existing course curriculum.
  • Review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed curriculums and recommend changes to policies and procedures as applicable.
  • Develop and create training resources and maintain/update systems training environment and library of training resources to align with operational excellence.
  • Responsible for adhering to established safety standards.
  • Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope & complexity.
  • Contribute to the completion of organizational projects & goals.
  • Communicate on complex or sensitive issues or draft responses for supervisor or manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes adult learning techniques including ADDIE, Rapid Course Development, and Adult Learning Theory.
  • Will also maintain existing training curriculum and materials
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
  • Able to occasionally lift, carry, or otherwise move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Work is constantly performed in an office environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
  • Communicate on complex or sensitive issues or draft responses for supervisor or manager.
  • Experience presenting content and materials in person or virtually to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Must live/reside in Texas
Preferred Skill:

  • Captivate/Articulate experience is a plus.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
