Maximus is seeking a SQL Database Administrator to provide expertise to a federal client in support of their mission critical systems in defense of our Homeland. Your role will involve overseeing database a dministration, performance tuning, troubleshootin g, and ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of our SQL databases.

- Administer and maintain SQL Server database environments, including
- Administer and maintain database operational status and performance
- Administer and maintain database replication monitoring and fault
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement
- Perform database design, data modeling, and schema management to

- Conduct database capacity planning and forecasting to accommodate
- Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies to ensure
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries, database

Requirements:
- This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 7 years of experience in the related field
- An active Secret Clearance is required
- This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule, if required.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
