Maximus is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as a Supportive Services Specialist! The Supportive Services Specialist will process requests for Supportive Services. Tasks will be administrative in nature. TN TANF Affirm is a pilot program that addresses educational, health, and economic services.
This is a full- time onsite position requiring you to work onsite in Memphis, TN .
**This position may require up to 15% travel - mileage is reimbursed at 100% of the Federal Rate**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly internal reports.
- Attend meetings and take meeting minutes.
- Type/generate letters and other documents, as necessary.
- Maintain records management, filing, retention, and/or labeling.
- Assist leadership with special projects and tasks on an as needed basis.
- Assist internal and external customers in problem resolution, as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all relevant information.
- Compose and distribute department-wide emails and correspondence.
- Perform timely and accurate data entry into software programs and create, analyze and maintain programmatic
- Process Supportive Services Requests
- Partner with Case Management staff
- Communicate with project staff and departments at multiple sites
- May make outbound calls and receive inbound calls, respond to phone calls and voicemail, fax documents routinely
- Prepare weekly internal reports.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required and 2 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills and abilities
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including a track record of interacting with all levels of staff, management and/or government

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
