Job Description Summary

Maximus is seeking an HR Data Analyst to join its Project Management Office (PMO) Human Resources (HR) team. The Analyst will support the department by performing a wide variety of Human Resources analytical functions to support Executive Leaders and HR Partners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, analysis-driven environment and willing to take on new challenges in this rapidly growing company segment. This position is 100% remote and would require working from a home office, in which candidates may be located anywhere within the United States. Project Specific Duties: •Perform analysis on large sets of data, including (not limited to) employee compensation, employee metrics, attrition/turnover and other highly confidential data, with complete accuracy to provide appropriate recommendations and solutions•Manage various data-driven projects from start to finish with support and collaboration from other team members and departments•Ensure the integrity of employee data, including performance of regular audits and documentation of appropriate quality control measures, through the proficient use of all Microsoft Office tools•Create dashboards to provide metrics that enable more effective management of Human Resources activities, analyze data for trends and prepare reports•Provide analysis and recommendations in response to requests for new positions, new hires, and/or retention situations•Perform on-site and virtual audits and reviews, to ensure compliance around Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Service Contract Act (SCA), and provide recommendations to reduce compliance risk•Support business development teams in identifying labor resources and providing market or internal salary data, using various compensation tools•Maintain current knowledge of employment and labor laws, including, but not limited to, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Service Contract Act (SCA)•Perform other duties as assigned by leadershipProject Specific Education/Experience Requirements: •Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required; equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeAt least three (3) years of related work experience required•Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project required•Experience with analyzing and managing large sets of data required•Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in support of goals•Adheres to timelines and prioritizes effectively to ensure timely deliverables•Strong communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to take concepts and express them concisely and effectively for all levels across the organization•Ability to build strong relationships, establish trust, influence decision-making and gain consensus on solutions across organizational levels•Highly organized, proven attention to accuracy and detail•Displays adaptability, resilience, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity•Thrives in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment•Experience and knowledge with python, R or other programming languages is a plus•Experience and knowledge with Service Contract Act (SCA) populations is a plus

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for performing analyses of numerous Human Resources programs and initiatives.- Responsible for analyzing and reporting Human Resources staffing initiatives on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis such as: Turnover/Attrition, Headcount and Forecasting and make recommendations for action or improvement based upon results.- Create, maintain, and analyze timely analytics/metrics on Human Resources initiatives.- Create and maintain any additional ad hoc analytics requests.- Responsible for creating and maintaining new/innovative reporting platforms to convey results using the allocated tools.- Responsible for converting complex data into visually appealing presentation formats to be delivered to audiences at all levels.- Assist Human Resources in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures.Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
